Do these messages also appear in DSPLOG?

If so, then you could do a DSPLOG to a printer file and convert the
printer file to a disk file. Process it backwards. Upon the first
occurrence of
>From . . . . . . . . . : HELEN00 Severity . . . . . . . : 99
Message type . . . . . : Valid reply
Date sent . . . . . . : 01/22/03 Time sent . . . . . . : 15:13:58

Message . . . . : R

Look at the message immediately preceding it. Then look for the
occurrence of this message before that. The time differential between the
immediately preceding and the one before that is their response time.

As it appeared in the printer file:

Hi All,

I'm trying to track message wait and the time the operators make to
respond
to those message.
A right I'm using CL script to put the inquiry messages in physical file
and
I work with that file to track to track the information I need.

Any ideas on how to get information in better manner will be appreciated.

Thanks.
