Thanks, Al. Last night I found some nice CMD wrappers for the send to data 
queue and receive from data queue APIs, so I will start examining how I can use 
those. Again, if anyone has a good link, I'd be appreciative, but after a 
cursory examination, it looks like that will get me around the weirdness I was 
seeing with trying to use a MSGQ.
