I have noticed, on several installs, that newer & faster hardware seems
to require a stronger twinax signal. In some previous releases IBM
has documented this. It's not that IBM raised the spec, but that older
hardware was more tolerant, or could function below the spec. In each
case, we replaced or repaired twinax & it worked.
