That about describes how I use it also. Still not as fast in some areas that I would like. But in the new areas that I haven't had something to measure against it runs fast enough. Being able to blast a bunch of spool files beats the snot out of having to press 4 in front of dozens of screens of spool files. (My wrist hasn't had that much work since I was a teenager.)
