Let's say that I run a SMTP and POP services on my v5r2 iSeries, and that I want to write a program to verify the 'from' and 'to' addresses of each piece of email that flows thru my system. If the email is a) intended for a 'valid' recipient, or b) from a 'valid' sender - accept the mail for distribution; otherwise reject it, and create a log entry. How would I do this? Can I attach an exit program to the SMTP server?
