Have a look at the DSPMSGD command.

You can use WRKMSGF to find out what message files you may want to select
for this.

Fair warning: You'll have a tremendous amount of output.

Is there an easy way on the AS400 to list all possible message id's (i.e.
CPF1063) and what they mean? Is there a manual that lists them all?
