Right on, there are ways to spawn popups _after_ you leave a page, and they
look like something from the next page you open. AdAware will stop some of
this, but you might want a real popup stopper - don't have one myself,
should be able to search for one at google or whatever.

I'd run AdAware if I were you. IBM's InfoCenter doesn't spawn pop-ups - I
just went there and did not receive one.

Subject: iSeries Information Center

Hello all,

Is anyone else having problems with the Info Center. I keep shortcuts to
often used links to the Info Center. Specifically an alphabetic listing of
the OS/400 APIs. When I navigate this link, from my favorites folder, the
applet FileParse runs for about 4+ minutes rendering my PC absolutely
useless. Am I doing something wrong or is there really a problem. My PC is
a 1.8 GHZ P4 running W2K SP3, 512MB ram. My browser is IE6.

Also, we pay very good money for OS/400. IBM deems it unprofitable to send
us books or even a documentation CD forcing us to use Info Center. Fine!
But what I don't appreciate is a Popup add being fired when I navigate to
their documentation site. This is the URL the last time:

Thanks,
