Can't do that because the delete needs to occur before control is returned to the program. The user (especially this user!) may attempt to upload the same batch again almost immediately. I'm not sure what changed going to V5R1. Maybe it is an activation group issue? It seems odd that I could delete the records using RPG but not SQL. The trigger is an RPG program which checks the type of batch and calls the correct program to delete the records from the appropriate interface file. Pete Hall wrote:
