Well, yeah we could go to 4.5, but is there really a point to? If we are
going to upgrade, might as well go current.

As for CSC and not being prepared for the end of Office Vision ... well, not
going to comment.

So far their recommendation is a product called DTM to migrate notepad
entries from OV to something else.

Only glanced at it so far. Not sure how much it ill help.

I figured if we can find a way to automate transferring the Notepad entries
to text files, or even be able to query the entries through VB, I was going
to do this:

Setup a postgresql database and store all info in fields (the actual notes,
user, date, claim number, etc.). Then, I was going to write some PHP pages
that will allow search based on claim number that will display the contents
in chronological order. Also, have pages to where they can add in entries.
I can have authentication based on my SAMBA domain accounts.

That way they have a web browser open and CAE open and they can still view
notepad stuff.

I realize I can do the database backend with the AS/400 too, but the issue
there is I have to buy DB2 connect to get PHP on Linux to query AS/400 DB.
