Why does everyone always, and I mean always, assume they are the only
traffic on a network when giving out numbers like this?
I know, I know, an assumption must be made, but why always the unrealistic
idealistic one?
My ping response time to my AS400 is slower than the time you are talking
about on the same line. 50ms max, 12ms average, just pinging it. What size
packet is that? Smaller than any webpage you can think up I imagine.

I work on a T-1, sounds pretty fat doesn't it? Well, it's shared, home DSL
users fair better on internet stuff.

Anyway, off-topic

Merry Christmas folks!
