The S/38 came much later than the S/36... The S/36 first shipped in 07/83 as I recall... The S/38 didn't exist till much later. The S/36 still remains one of the most popular and widely installed systems ever built. The 400 didn't catch up with the S/36 in sales numbers for several years.
