oh gawd no!!!!  screen scraping is putting lipstick on a pig.

Its more than the text interface, its the whole application paradigm; its
cycle-driven vs. event-driven.  I love green screen and the cycle, but  I
believe event-driven user interfaces is our future.  But yee gads, not a mix
of the two, please  -  instead of the best of each we'd get the worst of
each.
