I used a CL to calculate the date and had it in the scheduler
I would certainly remove the IBMIRD one at least temporarily, but as I
said, my experience is that the log wasn't much help in identifying dodgy
tapes.
Maybe you should get your operators or whoever does it to write down what
tapes are put in the drive and in what order, or write a CL to extract this
information for you and hour or so before the backup.

The volume id involved is DOMTHU. However, I know that the nightly backup
only initializes the first tape and the others are previously initialized
and rely on expiration dates. I wonder if it might be IBMIRD?
By the way, is there a way to batch print this out? I wouldn't mind
printing that out as part of the backup procedure.
I am going to use F10 and start fresh.
