With V5R2 IBM added a catch 22 Allow a service tools user ID with a default and expired password to change its own password . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 1=Yes, 2=No This was set to 2 for me by default so I could change the password back to the default but when I tried to sign on it said password is expired so I tried to change it, then it says you are not allowed to change it because of the above. So I think I had to IPL in manual and change this to a 1. I could of probably just changed the password. John Ross
