I do have performance tools and am SLOWLY learning to use it (maybe one day I can get a class? . HA!). I was just reading about BEST1 in a PDF . . will see what i can figure out. version of OS/400 will be the same . . .we are runnning v5r1 right now with software sub . . . i am planning to go to v5r2 on the new box once we transfer the subscription and licensing. Nearly everything done on this box is interactive, or so I am told by the vendor . . from wrkactjobs . .it certainly looks that way . nothing ever going on in batch from what little i know to look for. Thanks again for all your comments.
