Hi Jeff -

NYBBLE ? not in my dictionary (Oxford English, Concise Edition). It doesn't
even list NYBBLE as an alternative American spelling.  But perhaps this is
the US spelling :-)

Not a U.S. spelling of nibble, it's a whole different word.

Half of a bite is a nibble.  Half of a byte is a nybble.
