Does Netsoft Router muck up Acrobat .PDF file association in Windows?

Don't know if they're related. Everytime I start up Acrobat, the
Netsoft router wants me to sign on to the AS/400!!! (We use CA for
5250 support.) I can cancel through it, but it's still an annoyance.
Anyone dealt with this?

Also, for some reason, I can't seem to make Adobe Acrobat PDF files
"stick" to being associated with the Acrobat app; it seems to want to
default to a text file type. I've never experienced this before.

TIA, Dan
