Is the system value QAUTOCFG set to '1'?  Try turning it off and see
what happens.

I'm trying to figure out why a printer keeps getting created.
I end writer, vary off, delete device description.
A minute later it's active again, created by job QTVDEVICE
RTVCFGSRC of all devices does not show any workstation with this as
it's printer.
The qtvdevice is eating a lot of resources.
Netstat is also showing a single ip address (10.x.x.x) trying to
establish
20 or 30 telnet sessions on consecutive ports.
I can't really relate the netstat problem to the printer problem.
Has been going on for several days, and have ipl'd once in between.
V4R5 (will be loading latest cume Sunday).
any ideas?
