Every so often, when starting TCP/IP after the backup, the Telnet server does not start properly. This happened for the 3rd time in a month last night. To get it working, I must do ENDTCPSVR *TELNET followed by STRTCPSVR *TELNET and then everything is OK. (STRTCPSVR only doesn't work, I must ENDTCPSVR first.) After the 2nd time it happened (over a week ago) I searched PTF cover letters, etc but found nothing. No error messages are generated that I can find. We are on V5R1, model 270, current on PTFs. Anybody else ever have this? Thanks. -- -- Jeff Crosby Dilgard Frozen Foods, Inc. P.O. Box 13369 Ft.
