Well, sorry to break the streak, but I got a positive story.

This one company had an AS/400 and they were doing some construction work.
They temporarily put the as/400 in the ceiling to get it out of the way.

ell for one reason or another they forgot about it.

A couple years went by (yes, it was being used) and they had to do some
other construction work.

Well, the workers ask someone in the company "what the hell is that black
box up in the ceiling"?

Well, apparently the original people that did the construction previous
forgot to put the AS/400 back down ... so for a couple years this box was
just humming along doing its job and no one even knew it existed physically.
