Todd, I'd be curious, have you tried just doing it brute force? I.e., drop reading through the QADBXREF and just doing the DSPFD *ALL/*ALL TYPE(*MBRLIST)? I used to use a variation of the technique you described several years ago and found it to be slower than just doing the whole system in one shot. Sure you get data files too, but a logical with a select squeezes those out. Since it has been awhile and several releases ago, I think I'll give your idea a test run and see how it does.
