Jenny,

1.) Turn printer on, within 30 seconds you should see the following
displays:  FFF, 200, 100, A0, and 00.

2.)  Desired Address     Select    Power-On Displays
       0                                    000          A0
       1                                    001          A1
       2                                    002          A2
       3                                    003          A3
       4                                    004          A4
       5                                    005          A5
       6                                    006          A6

3.) To change the address.  Press STOP.  Press and hold ALTERNATE.  Then
press and release TEST until 305 displays.  Release both keys.

Press and hold ALTERNATE.  While still holding ALTERNATE, press and release
9 until the correct address value you want displays.  Release both keys.

Press and hold ALTERNATE, then press and release CANCEL.  The printer will
go through a power on sequence.  Watch the display to see if your new
address displays (see above table).  If it does not repeat this procedure.

On the other hand can anyone with a 4224 1E3 printer tell me how to set the
address.  We bought one second hand and it has no manual!
