Steve, It depends on which capacity you mean - the maxing out we had was in one profile's case down to under 20% of a few hundred *owned* object entries, but 80% of private authority entries. The point I was making was that storage usage isn't the only thing to watch, it's worth running PRTPRFINT SELECT(*PCTFULL) PCTFULL(50) every so often. I can tell you that my colleague's batch jobs have created well in excess of 3.5 million new files, but it was the volume of attributed authorities that sent the machine into temporary shock.
