When the last character of an iSeries file is blank
and I need to turn it into a PC file with a fixed length,
I have to run the file through a program that
puts a carriage return at the last position. Then I
use CPYTOIMPF FROMFILE(fromlib/fromfile) +
             TOSTMF(tofile) MBROPT(*REPLACE) +
             RCDDLM(*LF) DTAFMT(*FIXED) +
             STMFCODPAG(*PCASCII)

It is a pain.
