While the support remains, IBM recently ended marketing for twinax devices. Evidently there was not enough volume to justify running the assembly line. The advice I received was buy a used IBM on the open market, or use a 3rd party device. As for LAN Console, we have had mixed results. On a 3 LPAR system it worked pretty good. On a 5 LPAR system, it was not pretty. Problem seems to be related to Windows NT. We are going to upgrade to 2000 and try again on this system Bob Larkin Certified iSeries Technical Solutions Expert V5R2 Troy Dills wrote:
Can anyone verify that on V5R2 that twinax will not be supported? Thank You Troy Dills
