The WebSphere Development Studio (WDS/400) that shipped with V5R1 is the older version 3.5, that does not run anywhere but Windows. The newer version of WebSphere Development Studio Client, WDSc 4.0, is now available and is shipping with V5R2, but you can get it separately, and it will work with V4R5 or V5R1 as well as with V5R2 of OS/400 on the server, and it is based on Eclipse, the new platform-neutral (platform agnostic) Integrated Development Environment (IDE)... see www.eclipse.org for more information on this. Many other vendors besides IBM are "on board" this project, developing products on top of this "base". Regards, Mark S.
