I'm not sure what is available using Bosa Nova printer emulation. Check to see what setup options it has, if any, for translation of characters as they are sent from the AS/400. OS/400 provides a facility to translate characters (for supported printers) using a Workstation Customizing Object as they are being sent to the printer using the Host Print Transform function. Here is a link to a page in the the OS/400 Workstation Customization Programming V4R3 (SC41-5605-00). <http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr/BOOKS/QB3AQ600/3.4.4?DT=19980 512102401> HTH Steve Landess ----- Original Message ----- From: "Saunders, Martin P" <martin.saunders@cgey.com> To: <midrange-l@midrange.com> Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2002 8:41 AM Subject: Currency symbol on labels Hello all, I am trying to print a GBP (?) sign on barcode labels using a Zebra barcode printer. I am sending the ZPL commands required but the currency symbol is being translated to a square bracket '[' somewhere between the iSeries and the printer. The printer is attached to a PC running BosaNova printer emulation. Is there a way to determine which character to use on the AS/400 so that it gets translated to a pound sign on the printer?
