I enjoyed programming in EDL / EDX on the S/1.  It was my first exposure to
event driven programming.  Sure was different than RPG II on the S/34!

I liked the programability of all the keys on those terminals, the extended
shift states, and that you could create your own screen fonts.  For an April
fool's day joke we had a program create screen fonts which were flipped images
of the normal characters, and assign them to the extended shift states of the
keys.  They while someone was on break, we'd lock the extended shift on.

But we better quit; we're off topic for this list...
