I agree.  These types of conversations belong on midrange-nontech.

Peggy McMurtray posted her reply to my original message BOTH on
midrange-jobs AND midrange-l.  Because of the nature of midrange-jobs, there
is no archive that you can view and see prior message postings.

If it were posted to midrange-nontech, probably nobody would have seen her
message and commented on it.  I just looked at the midrange-nontech archives
at 1:20 pm CST today (Oct 8) and there are only 24 postings for the entire
month of October.

I posted MY original message (the one quoted by Peggy in her message) on
midrange-jobs on Sept. 27, 2002.

However, next time I post something like this to midrange-nontech, I will
probably also post a CC to Midrange-L.  This way, anybody who is interested
can reply and the replies to the message will be sent to Midrange-nontech.
I will make a note within my posting that all replies should be sent to
midrange-nontech.
