I guess the zip file doesnt immediately follow this, because there needs to
be an 'Encoding: base64' or similar somewhere before...

This would happen if his email program doesnt find the base64 or equivalent
and cant decode it properly? I've seen the same on occasion - usually hotmail
accounts...
