Rebecca, Actually you can still get a brand new VAX emulator from a company called SRI (Software Resources International) in Europe. They have a long standing relationship with Compaq (and now HP). The down side is that you can't buy a new VMS license. You have to transfer a license from a VAX to the emulated VAX. All they sell are ALPHAs, and I'm not even sure they're making those anymore. When Digital was bought by Compaq, the VAX and ALPHA were pushed to the back shelf.
