Mark Allen [mailto:allenmark=zreo7PaS9+c@public.gmane.org] asked: > Has anyone else gotten email from macrocomp.com? Folks: I've investigated this issue and cannot find evidence that anyone involved in macrocomp.com is subscribed to a midrange.com mailing list... so I can't actually remove them from a list. I have blocked their domain and mail hosts from accessing midrange.com servers ... but that has no guarantee of doing anything. My suggestions would be 1. Block macrocomp.com and the sending email host from your own email system (if you have such control) 2. Report the email as spam to the appropriate mail hosts. PLEASE make sure you don't report midrange.com related domain's and IP's :) 3. Indicate your annoyance with the spam ... both directly (email the company, be professional... but firm) and with your budgets (i.e., don't buy from the place). Please rest assured that email addresses on publicly available archives of the mailing lists are encrypted to the best of my ability ... both on the mailing list archive and gmane's news server. Any questions on this should be directed to me via private email. Thanks! david
