No, I don't think this is the answer. If I run a DIFF in Unix it shows me the records that match on the unique key, but have any elements that have change. CHGPFM will do a simular comparison and exception report. In this case while both would do the job neither meet the specification I could do a select * from a inner join b, on x=y where ((a.fld1 <> b.fld1) or (a.fld2 <> b.fld2).............or (A.lstFld <> B.lstFld)) .
