Justin,
Here are the different JobQ's we have attached to our QBATCH subsystem.
Each one has a different reason for being. All the DOC ones are to support
our document system where we merge data from the iSeries into word documents
residing on a separate NT server. There is one for each different office.
Nightjobs is just that, jobs to be run at night after backup. CheckJobq
handles our check printing (JDE to EZPrint). Qbatch is general use, HapRap
and QFEDQ are for our branch offices. QPGMR is for the programming staff.
QBATCH2 is a private jobq. Only people with command line (IT staff) can move
jobs to this jobq if something else gets all hosed up and it is a priority
job. And this is only one subsystem, we have several more, each with their
own specialized jobq's. If you need to have your stuff run and it won't
snafu up the other batch jobs, create your own jobq.

BTW: QINTER jobq is multi-threaded. If you submit more than one job, they
will all start running. (Discovered this the hard way with JDE batch jobs
once upon a time ;-)
