Thanks for the information. Also I forgot to mention we are using the server control from onnet (ftp) software to crontrol the printing at the PC level. Also we have a IBM6400 printer we are using as our main printer. We have created a remote outq for it with no problems on multiple copies. Our printer is a Savin 9945. This is one of those multifunction printers: Printer, Copier, makes hot bread... Issue has been open since 8/8 and we aren't getting too close to a resolution. Another gent here is working on that problem. One line of text from the pmr: "Changing the value of the destination options to 'XAIX' from *NONE started the multiple copies problem on our V5R1 machine. " Comm trace seems to show that the network card in the printer is not handling it well. One of these days we plan on hooking it up to a MarkNet device and see if that resolves it. It works okay if I have a report with one copy. When I set the copies to 2, It keeps sending copies to the printer until I either put it on hold or delete it. The user had 15 copies of the same report before I was called. In the Destination options of the outq description I have XAIX and XAUTOQ (Uppercase). What do I need to change to stop this.
