CRTDUPOBJ (Create Duplicate Object) will copy quite a number of different objects, including physical files. If you prompt the CRTDUPOBJ command by pressing F4, then Press F4 again on the Object Type, you can see all the types of objects this will work for. As far as copying the data you have 2 choices, *Yes or *No. All or nothing. CPYF (Copy File), on the other hand, is used for just that, copying files. But, you have a lot more flexibility as to which records you want to copy. Prompt the CPYF command by pressing F4, then hit F9 to see all the parameters, and you can see there is a lot you can do. You can copy only specific keys, you can copy only specific records, you can copy based on text inside of a record or field, etc...
