Just discovered the hard way that this solution hasn't fixed the problem
of our Invoice File being locked when I save a Query/400 definition.  This
is becoming a big problem as the 'powers that be' want more reports on how
sales are doing, but I can't save the Query definitions without stopping
everyone in our Despatch area for 5 minutes...

Is this with a RUNQRY or a WRKQRY? RUNQRY shouldn't lock up more that a
SHRRD lock. However, WRKQRY may require a SHRNUPD lock at times. Take a
look
