Mark, We've been using CAE 5.1 for several months already, and connect to different systems ranging from V3R2 to V5R1, with no problems whatsoever. Just my two eurocents. If I understand your situation correctly, you upgraded your PC to CAE 5.1, but the AS/400 to which you were connecting was at OS/400 V4R4. I do not think this is a "supported configuration". In other words, I can understand how you may be able to continue to use an older version of CA/CAE with a newer version of OS/400, but not vice versa. Perhaps someone from IBM can shed more light on this?
