We have the same thing but it runs in a batch file like this: Echo Open AS/400 > out.ftp echo user me >> out.ftp echo mepass>>out.ftp Echo variouscommands>>out.ftp echo bye>>out.ftp ftp -n -s:out.ftp >ftp.err This way the ftp session file is recreated everytime it's run.
