Most likely the cable test good at half duplex but not full duplex. Must be cat 5 or better with all 4 pairs wired correctly. Standard cable testers will not check the 100 full duplex. Check out your cable tester to see if it has that capacity. Christopher K. Ethernet cable line tested ok, no interference, etc. Both the Cisco and the iSeries Ethernet card had been auto negotiating speed of 100M and duplex of half. Read a tech doc that auto is not all it is cracked up/trusted to be.
