Re: 4234 info -- MIDRANGE-L

As I remember the  the model 001 was easily detachable from the base, but
the model 002 was not.  Three important notes:

1).   On the model 002, I think that the power went through the base.
2).   Front and back doors were added to the model 002, because the model
001 (which had an open front and back) were deemed to be too noisy.  The
4234 was introduced as a replacement for the 5225 (a/k/a "shake 'n bake"),
but was just too noisy for a quiet office environment.
3).   On both of these printers, the paper path started at the bottom, and
ended at the bottom.  My experience was that any interference with the
paper path caused paper jams that were difficult to clear.

I could be remembering this wrong, but seems to me that it "sits" on the
cabinet base.  However, if it is attached to the base, wonder if it can be
detached easily (screwdriver, socket set, etc)?
