What is your mail router system? Is it configured for allowing relaying? You will need to allow relaying from internal subnet only or list your AS400 IP address. -----Original Message----- From: db [mailto:dbryant@peeksoft.com] Sent: Tuesday, August 06, 2002 2:54 PM To: Midrange list Subject: Can't email to the outside world I am having trouble emailing outside of our company. I found some previous postings on this list which seemed to express the same problem, but I couldn't quite find an answer. Emailing within the company works great; with an email address outside the company, I get an error from the MS exchange server on our network that the 'recipient is unknown'. The email leaves the AS400 successfully. What am I missing?
