Remote printers are dropping with V4R5

We are upgrading various AS/400 model 270 from V4R2 to V4R5.  Attached are
Lexmark printers (1625-2355) via Ethernet.  We are using remote outq for
these printers.  With V4R2 everything was working fine, with only the rare
"dropping".  But with the upgrade to V4R5 we are experiencing a much higher
rate of failure(where the spools file go on hold and the writer ends) on
printers that are remote (not in the same building) to the AS/400.

Any idea on what I could check or settings I could tweak would be
appreciated.
