STRDFU will show more options on a machine with the toolset than a machine
without.
With:
1. Run a DFU program
2. Create a DFU program
3. Change a DFU program
4. Delete a DFU program
5. Update data using temporary program
Without:
1. Run a DFU program
5. Update data using temporary program
Option 1 makes sense. After all, you don't need the compilers to run a
RPG program developed on another machine do you?
But that EX payroll clerk who got fancy with the UPDDTA command...

With all due respect, I don't think so.
I checked GO LICPGM, and didn't see it there, so I then did DSPOBJD
*ALL/STRDFU *CMD, and only found it in QSYS, and the two previous
compilation library. Also the CPP for STRDFU is in QSYS.
When I do DSPOBJD *ALL/STRPDM *CMD, I also find it in QPDA.

Don,
>If I recall correctly, DFU is included with OS/400
Actually, I believe it is part of the same bundle as PDM/SEU/SDA/RLU, so
if
they
have DFU they have SEU.
All the DFU components are in library QPDA.
