Telnet uses sockets keepalive to test for lost clients, so if anything
sits between your client (router, hub, VPN, etc.) that fails to respond
to a keep alive probe, then Telnet assumes the client is lost and posts
a message to that effect in QTVDEVICE job logs.  Try checking for that.
