Hey Richard,

I have done what you are trying to do with an NT Server and all you have to
do is same.  You need a router that is going to map your local network
AS/400 IP to a STATIC or DYNAMIC IP provided by your cable modem (STATIC IP
is prefered because it never changes, hopefully).  If you use DYNAMIC you
will have to inform outside programmer everytime you cable modem assign a
new one.  Your ROUTER should be configured not for DHCP (router assigning IP
addresses to PCs and Servers e.g. AS/400) and your 400 should have  static
IP from your local network.  Let me know if you need more detail or I can
work you through over phone.  You should get a router with FIREWALL too!!!
