I am testing it inside the firewall, that is why this is so weird. It seems like I have things setup correctly. :( I followed the exact steps I got out of the redbook. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-admin@midrange.com [mailto:midrange-l-admin@midrange.com] On Behalf Of Joe Pluta Sent: Tuesday, July 16, 2002 10:53 AM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: RE: Problem with SSL > From: Justin Houchin > > I had the *admin server instance set for port 2010, but I have > configured ssl on my standard web instance for port 443. Okay, everything looks fine. The only issue is that in one of your earlier posts, you said you opened ports 2001 and 2010 in your firewall. What you need is port 443. To be honest, I would test INSIDE the firewall until I was comfortable with my configuration. However, if you do want to go through the firewall, you will need to open port 443. Beyond that, everything looks fine.
