Worse than the fee or the possible family relationship between the vendor and the legal agency is what assurance you have that the source code even matches the compiled code? Or that it can even compile? Who ever holds the source in escrow can't verify the code entrusted to them actually matches the compiled code. You're really getting a pig in a polk when the code is not compiled on your own machine. Phil
