I believe one of the phone company web sites like www.switchboard.com or
www.bigyellow.com probably has a listing of all currently valid area codes.

Just my opinion, of course, but you might want to avoid what you are
attempting.  Until about ten years ago, any area code that did not have a 0
or 1 as the second digit was invalid.  When the phone companies were forced
to abandon this rule, a LOT of reprogramming had to be done.  Given the
geometric increase in phone number demand these days, I can see any rule
disallowing an area code starting with 1 being abandoned as well.
