In DOS (or a command prompt in Windows) you see these in
a DIR listing (of which WRKLNK is an analog). In
UNIX/LINUX you can suppress these or see them.

BTW, there can be other objects with a '.' at the start.
These are mostly UNIX-type system and hidden objects,
generally. Specifying DSPOPT(*USER) will suppress all
objects that start with '.'
